I arrived home from Australia with the faintest whisper of a tan which has already been washed away by the beautiful Pacific Northwest rain. It is a lovely rain that lasts all season, driving the denizens of Rain City indoors for months at a time. I enjoy this introverted weather and all the guilt-free training hours it bears with it.
Today, the UPS man brought me my very own rig, in several rather heavy boxes, which I promptly put into the kitchen to regard with a wary sense of awe. This immense thing is mine, to do with as I will.
Let the games begin!
